CCC - Omaha

Last Sunday, on the 18th, we attended the Christ Community Church in Omaha. We gave a presentation about our mission trip to the Deaf Sunday School group. There were about 20 Deaf/HH/hearing adults that normally attend the CCC Sunday School. We had a great time fellowshipping with them, and we went to the hearing congress for their sermon. After that, they invited us to join their monthly potluck. We had discovered that a couple had just recently been married. We would like to wish all the best to Scott and Charlotte Hiatt of Lincoln!

Lincoln churches...

This past Sunday, we both visited the Spring of Life Deaf Christian Church & Ministerio Manantial de Vida in Lincoln. Moises' brother, David, is the pastor at Spring of Life, while his father, Rogelio, is the pastor at Ministerio Manantial de Vida. We both have been to their churches occasionally in the past, and enjoyed our time this past Sunday. We were also given the opportunity to present about our trip to Kenya in June to their churches! We have received a generous donation from Ministerio Manantial de Vida, and hope we do continue to receive support from them through prayers. We also hope the Spring of Life church will support our trip by praying and making a donation. Nevertheless, we are very glad we had the chance to talk to both churches to spread the news about our mission trip!
