Hello!
We apologize we have not been blogging to let you all know that we have arrived safely into the U.S. We flew out of Nairobi on July 2nd, stopping over in Amsterdam for an overnight layover. Amsterdam is a very beautiful city and we enjoyed a stroll, visiting the Anne Frank House, and having a pizza dinner. We then flew into the U.S. on the 3rd, and the 4th-5th were busy days celebrating Independence Day.
Last weekend was MAAD weekend for softball and it was hosted in Faribault, Minnesota. Our coed team won championships!
But that is not all! Moises flew to Nicaragua yesterday and is staying for 10 days on another mission trip in the area of Managua! We will update you all on his trip upon his return.
I would post more pictures, but all of them are on the other laptop, which Moises has taken with him to Nicaragua! Until then!
God Bless!

...nearing the end!
So, camp week ended yesterday & the children, including the LDO staff, had bunches of fun playing various activities. Some other activities we did this week included Basketball, Four Squares, Water Balloon Toss, Balloon Tag, Hide & Seek, Jump the Creek, Hot Potato, Volleyball, and of course, some old-fashioned Soccer.
Moises and I hope to close our last weekend simply enjoying these children here at LDO! Our bus leaves Kisii 9am on Monday, and will arrive Nairobi approximately 3-4pm. We have plans to stay with our dear interpreter friend William for the night before our flight leaves early Tuesday morning.
We both can't believe that ONE MONTH has already passed here in Kenya. We both feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to be here and will cherish these memories greatly!
Enjoy some pictures! God bless.

Camp Week
We are now on our final full week at LDO! This week, the ODO team has activities scheduled throughout the day Monday to Friday. The children are taking a week's vacation to spend all day long playing fun activities with the LDO and ODO staff. Monday, we played Bobble the Apple, Pick Pocket Tag, Limbo, and then closed the day with Volleyball using sheets and teams.
Today, we started the day with Red Rover, and then spent a few hours filming the children making a movie! The children are playing Dodgeball as we write this post.
Here are some pictures for you to enjoy.
God bless.
